Terms

Version to confirm date. These terms are between you ("you") and tamar.digital ("we", "us"), to confirm legal status, registered address and company number (if any).

1. What we do

We buy domain names for you, host websites and design websites. Which of these you are getting is agreed with you in writing (for example by email) before you pay. Those details, together with these terms, make up your agreement.

2. Requests, quotes and payment

Sending a request through our website does not buy anything and does not commit you or us. The prices shown on the site are a guide: we reply with the final price and what is included, and the yearly renewal price may change. The agreement starts when you accept our quote and to confirm pay (method and timing, for example invoice or bank transfer). Prices to confirm include or exclude VAT. We buy your domain or start work after we receive payment.

3. Domain names

You will be the registrant. We buy the domain for you and then make you the registrant (its legal holder) by updating the owner details or transferring it to you. to confirm how this is done and how quickly. Until then we may appear as the registrant. If the domain is for a business, the business should be the registrant. A domain is not property you own outright: it is a registration that lasts only while it is renewed and the rules of the registry are followed.

We are not a registrar. Domains we buy are registered through Porkbun LLC, an ICANN-accredited registrar. to confirm that this is the registrar you use, its address and its current terms. You can find the sponsoring registrar of any domain at lookup.icann.org.

Accurate details. You must give us complete and accurate contact details and tell us promptly if they change. False or out-of-date details can lead to a domain being suspended or cancelled without refund. Some extensions have extra rules, for example to confirm a UK contact for .uk domains under Nominet's rules.

Public data. Registry and registrar rules may require some details to be held in, or shown through, the public WHOIS/RDDS system, although personal data is often hidden. to confirm what is shown for each extension.

Renewal. A domain expires at the end of the period paid for. to confirm whether we renew automatically, how we remind you, and the price. After expiry the domain may stop working and may be released for others to register.

Transfers. You can ask to move your domain to another provider, subject to the ICANN transfer policy and registry rules (typically a domain cannot be transferred within 60 days of first registration). to confirm any fee. We will not unreasonably refuse a valid request.

Misuse and disputes. You must not use a domain unlawfully or in a way that infringes anyone's rights, including trademarks. You confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, your chosen name does not infringe anyone's rights. Disputes may be decided under the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) or the registry's own procedure (for .uk, Nominet's Dispute Resolution Service). If someone gives us reasonable evidence that your domain is causing actionable harm, we may have to disclose your identity and contact details to them within seven days.
